With a Mammoth floor to ceiling curved DJ booth, comprised of only french Solid Oak, Moko is a project to be especially proud to have under the Don Heston arsenal. The subtlety of the french Oak’s grain along-side the audacious curve, make for a warm welcoming on entry to the space. As the sister venue to Jumbi, Moko had to celebrate a rich diasporic history of collecting records and sharing music. With another back-to-audience approach, our aim was to create an environment that solely focused on the sonic experience and selection culture.
